89 Kelly St has a new artwork with the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre unveiling a mural earlier this week.

Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre Manager Lee Watts said ‘We are very excited to unveil the artwork; a beautiful scene for locals and visitors to enjoy.

SNRC received funding from Arts Upper Hunter’s Country Art Support Program (CASP) and SNRC commissioned Dan Bianco, a local artist, to create a native scene which incorporated assistance from Scone Grammar School students in his artwork.

"The native animal painting will set a beautiful scene for locals and visitors to enjoy coffee and lunch purchased at the Made in Scone Cafe that goes towards programs to support the most vulnerable in our area," she said.

"SNRC is very happy with the results. The painting will compliment art previously painted by Dan on the buildings at the same location."

The details will be added to the Australian Art Trails.
