Feedlot development to accommodate
4,100 head of cattle.
The development application proposes the regularisation of an existing cattle feedlot to accommodate 4,100 head of cattle. This includes the reconfiguration of some pens and effluent controls, along with effluent irrigation areas, manure use areas, new manure pad and mass death burial area.

The proposed development is Designated Development pursuant to Schedule 4.56 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 1979 and Integrated Development pursuant to Section 43(a), 47 & 55 of the Protection of the Environmental Operations Act 1997.

Submission:
Any person during the exhibition period may make written submissions to the General Manager, Upper Hunter Shire Council, 130 Liverpool Street Scone (PO Box 208) NSW 2337. If the submission is an objection to the proposal, the grounds for the objection must be specified in the submission.
Note: Any person who makes a submission by way of objection, and who is dissatisfied with the determination of the consent authority in granting development consent, may appeal to the Land and Environment Court. Unless the Independent Planning Commission has held a public hearing, a person who objected to the development by making a submission and who is dissatisfied with the determination of the consent authority to grant development consent may appeal to the Court.
If the Independent Planning Commission holds a public hearing, the Commission’s determination of the application is final and not subject to appeal.
Names and addresses of persons making submissions will be treated as public documents unless specifically requested not to do so by the author. Requests for withholding names and addresses are to be accompanied with reasons for withholding them.
Please note that Council will assume that you have no objection to the proposed development if a submission is not received within the specified notice period.
