Seniors Festival 2025 Connecting Our Community

Two weeks of fun, connection, and community spirit are coming your way! The Upper Hunter Seniors Festival runs from Monday, 3 March to Sunday, 16 March, with a fantastic line-up of free events across the region.

From social walks and gentle exercise to morning teas, workshops, and games, there’s something for everyone!

•  Heart Foundation Social Walk – Tuesday, 4 March, 9:30am at Merriwa Showground (30-minute walk).
• Merriwa Playgroup: Bring a Grandparent Day – Tuesday, 11 March, 9:30am-11:00am at Merriwa Library.
• Grandparents Gathering Morning Tea – Wednesday, 12 March, 10:00am at Merriwa CWA Hall.
• Wesley Aged Care Speaker – Thursday, 13 March, 1:00pm-3:00pm at Merriwa CWA Hall. Learn about safe driving and licensing, with refreshments provided.
