The following Roads, Sportsgrounds & Facilities are closed

Roads

We have had a lot of rain overnight and there are areas where the water is still over the road.
Our crews are still doing inspections. This list will be added to throughout the day.

Roads currently closed are:

  • Moss Vale Road
  • Mitchell Street, Moonan Flat
  • Moonan Brook Road at Moonan Brook
  • Stewarts Brook Road
  • Upper Rouchel Road (at causeways)
  • Cressfield Rd at Middlebrook crossing
  • Pages River Crossing, Glenbawn Rd
  • Wallington Rd, Parkville
  • Murulla St Causeway, Murrurundi

Please drive to the conditions and take care on the roads. Never drive through flood waters.

Sportsgrounds

Scone

  • Scone Park
  • Murray Bain
  • Bill Rose Sports complex

Aberdeen:

  • McKinnon Oval
  • Harrison Oval
  • St Andrews Reserve due to Flying Foxes

Murrurundi

  • Wilson Oval
  • Rosedale Complex

 

A few things to consider before play

  • If there is rain, the ground conditions may change.
  • Clubs will be required to conduct a risk assessment of the grounds before play and make their own decision regarding suitability.
  • Just a reminder, damage caused to the ground will be the club’s responsibility and they will be charged for re-instatement works.
