Upper Hunter Shire Council’s Draft Long Term Financial Plan (LTFP) 2025–2035 is now on public exhibition and available for community feedback. The LTFP is a key component of Council’s Integrated Planning and Reporting framework and forms part of the Resourcing Strategy. It outlines the financial resources required to implement the Community Strategic Plan 2035 and acts as a strategic guide for future decision-making. While not a fixed plan, it allows Council to assess long-term community priorities against financial constraints and identify emerging issues early. Council invites members of the community to review the Draft Long Term Financial Plan and provide feedback to ensure the strategy aligns with community needs and expectations. The public exhibition period will run for 28 days from Wednesday, 28 May to Wednesday, 25 June 2025. Submissions must be received by 5:00pm on Tuesday, 25 June 2025.
