Upper Hunter Shire Council advises that road upgrade works on Kingdon Street, Scone, are expected to commence within the next two to three weeks. The project will involve upgrades to concrete culverts and road pavement to improve the condition and functionality of the road. Weather permitting, works are expected to take approximately three to four weeks to complete.
The works may impact residents and sporting groups requiring access to Bill Rose Sporting Complex, as well as access to Council’s Parks and Facilities Depot, Water Treatment Plant and Dog Pound. Council appreciates the community’s patience and understanding while these important improvements are carried out.
Council will provide further information when the confirmed start date is available.
